My music tastes (as of the end of 2025)

I listen to a lot of music, so I figured I’d make a post just going through my current favorites playlist. Think of this as a sort of musical time capsule for me right here right now. Next year I’ll probably make a new post with the same idea to compare and contrast this.

I have a HUGE playlist (over 500 songs, I just hit 500 today!) of all my favorite songs that keeps growing, so I’ll be basing my current opinions off of what I’ve listened to the most from that. This’ll be formatted as a unranked list of my favorite songs right now.

• Sagittarius by SUEMITSU & THE NODAME ORCHESTRA
  • Sidenote I started (and sadly never finished) Nodame Cantabile this year and that has ended up being one of my favorite anime of all time
• I made a medley of the beatmania IIDX 33 Sparkle Shower BGM because KONAMI always cooks
  • I did this with Pinky Crush last year it’s basically a tradition
• Anything by f5ve
  • I discovered them this year and they have become my favorite artist right now. They indeed worked for that kitchen renovation. stream SEQUENCE 01.5
• I also discovered Tommy february6 this year and she has taken over parts of my playlist.
  • Specifically “Bloomin’!”, “Everyday At The Bus Stop”, and “PAPERMOON” by her alter-ego alias Tommy heavenly6.

Slightly related to all of this, I also fell in love with the GuitarFreaks & drummania games, including its music. The series has some really good songs, please listen to Timepiece Phase II, mint candy citrus drop, and The least 100sec. I know timepiece and the least 100sec. are incredibly popular but they are still really good regardless.

Also, if it matters, this is my last.fm rewind for the year. I like to think Hikki carried me through the year lol
